Summer is here, the weather is getting warmer and I can’t deny my temptation to lay in the sun, oil up every inch of my body and roast for hours like a chicken in the oven… But I’m soon turning 27 and that’s a big deal for me!
First of all, no one should bathe in the sun without sunscreen anyways. We all know it’s essential to preserve our skin as we start aging a little. Needless to say, skin cancer is definitely not on our list of goals. Other than hiding from the sun at noon, creaming your body with sunscreen three times a day or hiding under the umbrella at the beach, what else can we do to keep our skin looking glowy, healthy AND tanned ?
- DRINK LOADS OF WATER :
Water is not only good to quench your thirst. It is essential to flush out the toxins accumulating in the body. Drinking coconut water and green tea are naturally detoxifying too. ”Green tea is high in antioxidants which help to eliminate dead skin cells and the anti-inflammatory, anti-carcinogenic properties in green tea protects against a variety of skin disorders. Fluids help to detoxify the skin and keep the skin soft, dewy and clear. ”

2. GRADUAL TANNING:
” It gives an effective tan quickly. You don’t need to use this long to get a bronze glow. Because it’s tinted (unlike the original version) you can see where you are applying the lotion and which areas you have covered. After just one use you can already see an impressive difference. ”

3- EXERCISING !
‘’ The harsh weather makes the skin rough and dull and causes the pores to be clogged with sweat dust and dirt. Many people are still not aware of the actual benefits of exercise. But the home remedies for glowing skin also include exercise. The workout will improve your skin elasticity by providing good quality of the skin. There is also a solution if you don’t want to do hard exercise. Simply try out walking during the morning hours or evening. ‘’ .

“According to doctors Gina and Sid Dinesh, dermatologists in Beverly Hills, Calif., adding exfoliation to your skin care routine helps the natural shedding process of skin and encourages healthier, smoother, more even-toned, and clearer skin. Some of the big beauty benefits? Acne prevention, smaller pores, wrinkle reduction, and it even helps all those fancy (read: spendy) moisturizers actually absorb into the skin. ”

5- KEEP IT NATURAL :
A Good way to treat yourself a nice glow is to let your skin breath. With years of modeling under my belt, and tons of makeup removing products after long hours of shoot, I certainly learned that less is best. I find washing my face twice a day and applying a hint of day cream is the best way to keep my skin fresh. However, If you’re like me and still think a little blush can’t hurt, without any foundation or heavy concealer, you can simply add a little powder bronzer to your cheek and you’ll instantly look healthier.
Here’s The powder bronzer I use :
